Disclaimer: The product is this post was sent to me for free by the company.
I pride myself on A LOT of things. Some of those are; ability to organize refrigerators, make a mean vegetarian rotini, and use of rose hip oil. Another is taking care of my hair. I have textured hair, so it can be finicky when it comes to the products I use on it. I also have seborrheic dermatitis, which I’ve had for over ten years. The main focus I have when it comes to hair care is taking care of my scalp.
I was contacted by a company called Maple Holistics, which sells a variety of hair care products. I requested this particular shampoo, because I believed it to be the best match for my hair concerns. I’ve stopped using a lot of hair products, like leave in cream, gels, hairspray etc… and use oils after I wash my hair. I’ve been doing that for over three years. I don’t switch out my shampoos or conditioners often. I would rather not risk a flare up with my scalp.

Did It Work? Would I recommend?
It has a pleasant woodsy scent, which is obvious it’s cedar wood. The lather is really nice on this shampoo and has a viscous texture. It didn’t irritate my scalp or cause flare ups. I can tell when my scalp has a reaction to a new product, because it starts to itch and flake like a mad woman. Which I know isn’t the best visual to have in your mind.
I think it would be a good idea to try this product out if dandruff is one of your concerns. I had a good reaction to it, but I don’t think it will replace my main shampoo that I’ve been using for years. I was not a big fan of the dispenser, I prefer pumps to my shampoo and conditioners, because once I get to the bottom of a squeeze shampoo it gets more difficult to get out of the container. It was the only con this product had.
