Greetings earthlings. Wherever you are in the world I hope that you are having a wonderful day today. I’ve been working hard to get all of these reviews out. October is the month of reviews. I’m back with another ColourPop product. This time it’s a super shock shadow foursome. The super shock shadows were one of the first things I ever tried from ColourPop. They came out with two quads, and I will be reviewing both. The other quad will be up in a few days.

Formula, Pigmentation, Staying Power
If you aren’t familiar with ColourPop Super Shock Shadow formula. I consider them a hybrid creme to powder finish eyeshadow. They apply like a cream eyeshadow, but dry to a powder eyeshadow. The matte finish super shock shadows have a thicker, drier texture than the non-mattes. The pigmentation was good with most of these.
Wild Thoughts took a few swipes before it reached maximum opacity. I mostly use super shock shadows as one shadow look products because these don’t work to create a whole look. Unless you’re using multiple finishes, i could see how that would work, but it’s not how I prefer to use them. Since the SSS are creme to powder, they have excellent staying power. I have oily eyelids and can get away with not using a primer with these, which is why I love them so much.
