I think when I was born, I was born to have great eyeliner. Don’t get me wrong I went THROUGH IT with makeup. Every single “bad” makeup look there was to wear I did. I like to think that I’ve improved since I started wearing makeup. You cannot expect to the best at something right off the bat, it’s unrealistic.
Winged eyeliner is one of those things that many people struggle with. Makeup looks like smokey eyes, winged liner and cut creases can be intimidating because they can go wrong quickly. One error and the whole look goes to sh*t. I’m here to show you step-by-step how to do winged eyeliner.
Make sure your eye is prepped with primer + powder to set. This will create a base that your eyeliner can adhere to.
Think of the bottom lash line as your guide to create the line. Using your eyeliner brush start where the bottom lash line ends and flick the brush upwards. This lifts the eye.
Take your brush and starting right below the tip of the line, bring the brush down into the top lash line & into a triangle shape.
Make a line across your lash line, go thin when you get into the inner corner and thicker as you get closer to the wing.
Fill in the area with your eyeliner
Add mascara (or falsies) and now you’re a winged eyeliner master.
