This is part deux of my top 10 drugstore products series here. I did my top ten for eyes, which you find can HERE. When it comes to face products I have no problem finding face products from the drugstore. MANY of my favorite face products are from the drugstore. I have better luck with drugstore face products versus eyes or lips. This was a lot easier for me to pick out 10 products. I did include some non-makeup products in this as well.
Kirkland Signature Daily Facial Towelettes
These are my favorite makeup wipes of all time, I think they do a phenomenal job at taking off face makeup. The other reason I like these is because of how inexpensive these are In a box of these 150 wipes, it only costs $12. I used to buy $8 makeup wipes and I would go through those quickly.
Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Foundation
Fit me matte and poreless is one of my favorite foundations. It’s one of the few foundation lines I can find my undertone. Most drugstore foundation tend to lean on the neutral side, while I’m golden. The foundation has medium full coverage and makes my skin look as if it has no texture.
Essence Pure Nude Highlighter
This is actually a dupe for one my favorite highlighters from M.A.C in Faintly Fabulous. Faintly Fabulous was a limited edition products. I try to not feature limited edition products as much because It’s not fair because they were only available for a limited time. This highlighter is free of glitter and gives the skin a beautiful satin finish. Sans chunky shimmer or glitter.
Milani Multitasker Face Powder
If there was a drugstore equivalent to M.A.C Studio Fix Powder, it would be this one. It has good coverage and is a smooth powder. The only gripe I have with this lines of powders is that they don’t have many shades. I use light tan, which would match a NC37-40.
Nyx Cosmetics Strobe of Genius Palette
I consider this the ballin on budget version of an Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow kit. It comes with three big highlighters and four smaller highlighters. I really like to use these as eyeshadows as well. What’s fun about this palette is that you can mix your own highlight colors. It has some colors that you don’t see often at the drugstore.
Mario Badescu Cucumber Facial Spray
I like this more than the rose version because of the scent. I saturate my face with this stuff. The scent is light and crisp, I’m not sensitive to fragrance in my skin care, but I do try to stay away from it as much as I can.
Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream
I’ve already talked discussed this product before, but I’m gonna write about again because that’s how much I love it. MMMMkay. This is one of the best BB creams because it has a matte finish. I was on the struggle train trying to find a BB Cream that didn’t make look like a greasy pancake. I don’t have to set this with powder THAT’S how unbelievable this product is. The color is a bit too neutral, but I set it with a yellow powder to off set that.
Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer
This shouldn’t come as surprise because even though I haven’t written about this concealer, you know about this concealer. I admire how much coverage it has without feeling super thick and gross. Again, I wish they came out with more of a skin tone selection. The darkest concealer would barely work as a bronzer on me.
Covergirl Cheekers Blush
This product has been around since I could remember going to the drugstore with my grandma (who btw, fueled my makeup obsession) these blushes are really good. What makes these my favorite drugstore blush, is that they aren’t crazy pigmented. It means I have better control over the amount of color I put on my cheeks.
Up & Up™ Ultra Sheer Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30
I’m not the best at being religious with sunscreen. I know I should, but I don’t always. I’m strict with making sure that I put sunscreen on my face and neck. Especially because I use intense skin care, so I don’t want to make my dark spots worse by being in the sun. This sunscreen is light and doesn’t make my face greasy. It absorbs into the skin quickly.
