Mini Reviews | New! Drugstore Makeup Products (Part Two)

This is a part two, to THIS post. Enjoy.

Maybelline Inti-Matte Nudes in Naked Coral and Brown Blush

I have never been familiar with Maybelline lipstick, even when I used exclusively drugstore makeup. Inti-matte nudes are and addition to their color sensational line, but with a variety of nudes. The lipsticks are creamy and have good staying power. They survived iced coffee and cold cuts. I’m interested in picking up more of these.

Sleek Major Matte Lip Cream in Rioja Red and Velvet Slipper

The only Sleek products that i was familiar with are their eyeshadow palettes, which were one of the first things I reviewed on my blog. I like the consistency of these, it has a nice viscosity. The gripe with this is the applicator it’s not fluffy enough. When I applied this, it felt like the sponge was dragging on my lips. The sponge tip is quite small, so I had to go back several times to reapply product. They had excellent staying power, I had a pesto flatbread and cheese sticks and they faded in the middle, but the fading wasn’t noticeable to the point where I felt the need to reapply.

LOTTIE LONDON Blush Crush Powder Blusher in Harry

I’m not even going to lie and act like I didn’t because of the name… that’s exactly what I did. I love Harry Styles… I cannot lie. I’m happy that this color actually looks good with my skin. The packaging is adorable, it matches the color of the blush that’s on the inside. Lottie London is a new brand at Ulta, so I wanted to start out with something I knew I would use. The powder is SATURATED, so have a light hand with these.

Makeup Revolution Vivid Shimmer Brick in Rose Gold

Once upon a time.. Milani had glimmer stripes. Glimmer stripes were given the axe and no longer with us on this earth. They are now with several of my other beloved discontinued products in makeup heaven. Although nothing will ever replace Glimmer Stripes in my heart… these come in a close second. It has that same shimmery finish on the cheeks that I love. It’s a bronze orange on my skin. This would look absolutely beautiful on deeper skin tones.

L’Oréal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation

This has been around for a while. I finally got around to trying this out. It took me so long to try this out because when it comes to foundation… I stick to what works for me. I heard that this was a dream for oily skin. I tested this without powder, because if a foundation claims to be matte… I gonna see if it stays matte. This is a good foundation, but I got the wrong color is used Fresh being, when I should have bought Caramel Beige. Other than that, it’s a good foundation for oily skin.

L’Oréal Infallible Lip Paint Matte Liquid Lipstick in Cinna-Bomb

I haven’t always had the best luck with drugstore liquid lipsticks. I absolutely love these and hope that L’Oréal decides to make more colors. The lipstick has a mousse like texture, but dries down completely matte and lasts all day. Bomb.
