March Favorites 2017

Hello everyone, I have my March favorites to show you all. I’ve been keeping my routine simple. Unless I’m doing a look for Instagram, my makeup isn’t a crazy glitter bomb. I’ve discovered some new favorites and have been trying out new products consistently. I’ll be trying my best to update regularly on my blog. I really fell off the wagon for a while, but I’m getting back into the swing of things. I’ve been loving Instagram tutorials, so get ready to see a bunch of those this month.

Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream in 540 Medium

I’ve been doing a light to medium coverage on most days. I’ve never been a fan of extreme full coverage foundation and concealer. I don’t like to feel like I’m wearing layers on layers of product. This BB cream is the only BB cream that is advertised as matte. The color is slightly off, but I work with it because I do love how this looks and wears on my skin. It stays matte while giving me enough coverage.

Covergirl Cheekers Blush in Iced Cappuccino

These are definitely a underrrated product at the drugstore. The cheekers blushes are buildable, which I happen to appreciate in a blush. It’s a medium rose with shimmer and it adds a natural flush to the face.

Makeup Revolution Baked Highlighter in Matte Lights

This is not completely mate, the finish on this highlighter is a satin. Used under the eyes it gives a nice illuminated finish. It makes a great setting powder for eye primer too.

ColourPop Lippie Pencil in Frick n’ Frack

I’ve been using this as a stand alone lip color and under nude glosses.

Mario Badescu Cucumber Facial Spray

I love how fresh this makes my face look after I’ve applied powder. I douse my face in this before I apply makeup and it makes the biggest difference. My makeup doesn’t look as cakey and thick. The scent isn’t overpowering and irritating to the skin.

Nyx Cosmetics Pigment in Vegas Baby!

I have only used two of these pigments from Nyx, and this one is a gorgeous gold and silver glitter mix. It looks fabulous popped into the inner corner and on the eyelid. I’m definitely going to be trying more of these soon, they aren’t an expensive product, plus this line has a ton of colors.

Persona Cosmetics Identity Palette

This has quickly become one of my staple palettes for everyday looks. It has all of the mattes and shimmers I typically use in an eye look. The shimmers are smooth and apply with superb intensity. For a quick look I’ll pair charming in the crease with goal digger on the eyelid. I can’t wait to see what else Sona comes out with, hopefully another kick ass palette.

♥XOXO♥, Crystal Emme
