If you haven’t been under rock when it comes to the beauty world, you know that Anastasia Beverly Hills came with a new glow kit. I love the glow kits. I think that they are the best value if you’re wanting to try highlighters, but don’t want something that’s over the top. The glow kits are different than the illuminators because the glow kit powders give a more natural finish to the skin. The illuminators are more metallic and intense. I love my highlighters both ways, but I’m aware that not everybody does. ABH did a good job at making sure that each kit is unique.
The sundipped glow kit is cooler than both the “gleam” & “that glow” kit. If you have a deeper skin tone and didn’t feel that the other two worked for you, I definitely suggest trying this one out. Claudia (norvina) said that this kit was made to flatter deeper skin tones. I do think that you could get away with having all three, just because there are no overlapping shades.
- Bronzed (neutral amber)
- Tourmaline (warm rose gold)
- Moonstone (cream pearl)
- Summer (light sandy beige)
These powders are soft, so they wont give a bumpy texture to the skin. I know that can be an issue with metallic highlighters. Metallic highlighters can emphasize ANY dry patches, acne/acne scars. The great thing about the glow kits is that he texture glides on the skin.
Pigmentation & Lasting Power
HOLY GUACAMOLE the pigmentation to these powders is amazing. All you need is maybe one or two taps with your brush & you’re good. These last a long time on my skin. Highlighter is one of the last products I use on my face, so it has something to adhere on.
