March has zipped past us faster than a jet. I am so excited that this semester is going to end soon, because I am so fed up with school. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I feel like I lose steam in the middle of the semester. So much has been changing in my life, good changes (praise jesus) i’ll admit, but things are changing & it’s taking me a while to process them. Beuaty wise, I’ve really been sticking to a few products that I really love and used the most. In other news, Wet n’ Wild reposted my photo on their Instagram, which is really exciting for me. I hardly ever get my photos reposted (except ABH has retweeted some of my pics on Twitter) on Instagram, so when I do it’s really exciting.
Coastal Scents Eyeshadows
The first product(s) I have been using are my Coastal Scents Eyeshadows. I liked the ones I picked out, which reminded me of colors in the Morphe 35O palette (still not waiting for that palette to come back in stock, FOH) and the textures are smooth and last all day over a good primer and/or base.
Wet n’ Wild Color Icon Blushes
Wet n Wild blushes are quickly becoming some of my favorites from the drugstore. The brand has reformulated them and came out with new colors that are amazing. I do hope that they come out with more colors that will flatter a bigger variety of skin tones.
M.A.C Fluidline Brow Gelcreme
I hauled the M.A.C Fluidliner Brow Gelcreme awhile ago, and have been using this ever since then. I think it is a bit easier to use than the ABH Dipbrow, which can get intense and is a bit drier than this one. I do love both, but I think this one would work for those of you that want to use a brow color, but want to be able to build it up. I do wish that M.A.C had a bigger selection of colors, like ABH.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Shadow Couture Palette
The palette that started my ABH obsession. I’ve been working on really getting use out my products, instead of buying & buying, then not using. I really think that ABH should bring this palette back, it was the most perfectly constructed palette. It has the essential mattes, brilliant metallics and fun pops of color. Which is everything you ever need in a palette.
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Polish in Grape Shifter
I picked this on a late night trip to CVS, which I don’t recommend because next thing you know… you walk out with a bag full of makeup, you probably didn’t need. This polish has a clear base (as do most glitters) and has different sized glitter [articles in different colors. The fun thing about this one, is that whatever nail polish you put under it will take on the hue of the glitter. I used a warm mauve, but I put the glitter on top of it & it looked like a cool toned purple.
That is all for my march favorites everyone, let me know what you’ve been loving for the month of March. I would love for all of my readers to start interacting more with me. Here’s to a wonderful month of April.
♥XOXO♥, Crystal Emme
