I cannot believe we are in the month of February, January went so fast. I recently started a new semester & I am really liking my classes, which is already a step up from last semester (which felt like I was being dragged by a bus) so that’s nice. I’ve been loving a bunch of new products this month, because I got a lot of makeup for christmas, so I had a bunch of new products to try out.
The first thing is some Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadows that I got at the beginning of the month. I did do a review + eye look, which you can read about here.
If you read about my broken candle situation, you know that I got a replacement candle. I choose comfort as my candle & I have loved this so much, that I’ve already burned through one of them. It’s a strong spicy scent that makes my room smell so good.
The Maybelline eyeshadow quad in strut it suede, has become my go to eyeshadow, when I have 5 minutes to get ready and I want to swipe on some shadow fast. I love mixing the bronze with the light champagne shadow and then popping on some mascara.
I’ve always liked Inglot eyeshadows, so this might come not as a surprise. I’ve been loving the eyeshadows: 463, 154, 29, 11 & 354. I’ll be doing an update on my Inglot eyeshadows soon, I’ll probably be doing one big post about them, showing swatches & giving recommendations.
Revlon Toe Nail Clipper is the best thing to ever happen to my nails. This clipper keeps my claws at bay. It’s really inexpensive (under 5$ I believe) so you can replace it frequently. This will be featured in a post coming up soon (the next one that will be up) where I write about my top 5 beauty tools
China Glaze is one of my favorite nail polish brands. I love the formulas & they always come out with really cute collections. My favorite color this month was the mauve shade in this picture, which is from “The Great Outdoors” collection & it’s called My Lodge or Yours ?
For the second month in a row, this is the Carli Bybel palette from bhcosmetics. I just love this palette, I think she did a really great job at picking out colors that could be made into a lot looks. You really can’t go wrong for 12.50$. I’ve been loving the three matte eyeshadows in the first row, they make such a great eye look. The first two highlighters look amazing popped into the inner corner, for a nice brightness.
That is all for my January 2016 favorites, I’m so excited for the month of February because it’s the shortest month, which sounds ridiculous. Tell me what you have been using & loving this month. I’m so excited for that Peanut Butter & Jelly palette from Too Faced & the sweet peach palette.
